Rochelle Hanslow is a Scottish, neurodivergent, chronically ill poetess and writer. Her work has appeared in Modron, The Poetry Lighthouse, Dreich, The Anti-Misogyny Club, Eche, Propel Magazine, the Propel Anthology, and Black Cat Poetry Press’s latest nature anthology. She is continually deepening her engagement with the natural world, which often informs her creative work. She also authors a Substack fiction series centred on Caddie St. James. While Caddie’s circumstances are entirely made up, her voice and worldview share Rochelle’s lived "operating system," blending authentic internal experiences with an alternate reality. Her debut poetry pamphlet, 'Wolf in the Nursery', is forthcoming with Black Cat Poetry Press in 2027.
